Aspen High School Takes 21 Day Challenge

Yesterday, I was lucky enough to go back to my old high school, Aspen High and talk about the climate crisis. The amazing people from ACE (alliance for climate education) and POW have put together an entertaining and compelling program that educates and inspires teenagers about the climate and the impact their daily decisions have on it.  They ask everyone to join their DOT campaign, Do One Thing daily to lessen your impact; take shorter showers, use energy efficient light bulbs, use reusable bottles etc. Which ties nicely in with the 21 Day Reusable Challenge, so we finished up the presentation by having all of Aspen High School pledge to not use plastic bags, plastic water bottles and Styrofoam containers for 21 days and hopefully forever. I’m so proud of my Alma Mater!
