2nd Place Copper Grand Prix

By | Published: December 13, 2009

Yesterday’s Grand Prix at Copper was the first of five Olympic qualifiers for the US riders and the pressure was definitely on. This event has been a long time coming and like any Olympic year there is a lot on the line. Despite getting a little bit caught up in the pressure of the event, I managed to get second place after falling on my first run. I was happy to land a run I’ve never done in a contest before, crippler 7 to cab 7, and to end up on the podium at such an important event. One down, four to go, wish me luck and enjoy the holiday season. For the full report from Snowboarder Magazine click HERE.
