There has been a lot of focus on the oceans these last few months with the oil spill in the Gulf and a lot of debate around off shore drilling and drilling in general. In the wake of this, the Surfrider Foundation whose continued dedicated to the protection of our oceans has helped to raise awareness about oceanic environmental issues, held a global Hands Across the Sand event this past Saturday. Hands Across the Sand, sent a simple message “NO to Offshore Oil Drilling, YES to Clean Energy”.
