I’m sure that most of you are doing your part to use less plastic and are reducing, reusing and recycling like good environmental people. But there’s still more to do! Plastic ocean litter is one of the deadliest threats to our marine life, who mistake it for food and/or become entangled.  Our trash is also accumulating in the North Pacific Gyre and changing the very composition of our ocean.  Additionally, beach litter is one of the most unsightly forms of blight that can ruin a summer day.  But now YOU can join Surfrider.org and help California solve this problem by joining the growing list of cities and countries that have chosen to Ban the Bag.  Click HERE to tell your California state representative how you feel

New Addition

I have wanted a dog for a really long time but things just never seemed right but the time has come and Chris and I have found our perfect sweetheart of dog! Her name is Kota she is two year old rescue huskie lab mix who has is the sweetest, cutest thing you have ever seen. We definitely have some training to do, she nabbed a crow out of the air on our first day to the dog park but I’m studying The Dog Whisperer and learning how to be the Alpha dog! I’ll keep you posted on our adventures in dog training and on the joys of dog living!
