The winter season is officially upon us and everyone who’s everyone in Olympic snowboarding has decended upon Copper Mt to ride the only 22ft halfpipe around. And, of course, to get ready for the fast approach Grand Prix which will be taking place in just over a week. Luckily for us the halfpipe is in perfect condition and is hands down the best pipe I have ridden this early in the season. As an added bonus, the US athletes who already have their top 30 at a FIS World Cup, get a private pipe from 8:30-10 everyday. It’s good to be US these days. In other news, it’s officially Christmas time in the mountains so in order to make our condo more homy and to get in the spirit we’ve picked up a tree and have begun to decorate. Happy Holidays!
