National Geographic Adventurer of the Year Awards

National Geographic Magazine just honored 14 people who they consider to have the most outstanding accomplishments for 2008 in the world of adventure, exploration, conservation and humanitarian work and I was luck enough to be one of them, it’s really exciting to be recognized for doing something you love and believe in. The dinner in DC with all the other athletes and activists was amazing and the magazine is out now so check out the photos from my beachy photo shoot.
